We are a group of young, confident and multi-talented girls with many ambitions in life! Not your ordinary 'girl-next-door' type, we strive to become more than that! But don't blame us for being so driven; we refuse to live a "normal" life. We want to be the girls that can say "been there, done that" to every experience imaginable because we believe that challenging ourselves physically, mentally, psychologically, and socially is not only good for the health, it's also good for the soul!
That is why we are called the Wonder Girls. We are determined to make WONDERFUL things happen! We distinguish ourselves as girls that believe anything is possible when the heart and the mind is put in it. The 'wonder girl' who chooses to step up, speak out, and make a difference in the world. We are the doers, the achievers, not the girls that sit in the back of the room waiting for something to happen. Oh, no, do not mistake us for that!
This is a dog-eat-dog world. Even the fittest among us will break down, lose control, and need support in order to survive. As much as we want to, as much as we try, we will not always be able to do it on our own. The Wonder Girl Society was founded for that specific reason: to help determined, passionate girls maintain their ambitions and turn their dreams into reality even during the most troublesome times!
Through collaboration, communication, and support and all the WGS resources provided to us (thanks to our national and local sponsors, partners, and affiliates) - we are determined to achieve more than what we could have done on our own. We prefer this because our ambitions are like food to us. It is what keeps us going and keeps us alive! The more we accomplish, the more we are satisfied. The more we are satisfied, the more we want to accomplish! Without it, we may as well be that girl that sits in the back of the room and watches her life pass her by. You already know that is not us. We prefer to sit up front to!!
